Oh so wonderful Hemp -

Hemp is one of most useful and oldest known cultivated crops.

Yet is illegal to grow in the US!

Hemp can be food, clothing, oil, resins (biodegredable plastics :) and much more.



Hemp is a beneficial crop to the earth, it very easy on the land. Hemp is ready for harvest in 120 days (compared to a tree’s tens to hundreds of years).

Hemp puts down a taproot in 30 days, preventing topsoil erosion, doesnt require much irrigation and will grow in arid regions. Hemp's soil nutrients concentrate in the plants roots and leaves. After harvest the roots remain and the leaves are returned to the fields, so soil nutrients are preserved. (The vast majority of crops do the opposite, leeching the soil of it's nutrients.)

Hemp doesn’t require many nutrients aka industrial chemical fertilizer. Hemp also out competes weeds, thus it doesn’t need herbicides. THC free strains produce their own resin which makes the crop naturally pest free, so it doesn’t require toxic chemicals pesticides. Hemp actually leaves the soil in better condition than before it was planted.
